The Helloween EP is the debut recording by the German heavy metal band Helloween. Even though it wasn't a power metal album it was very significant, being the first effort of the band which redefined the genre.[2]
It was released in March 1985 on Noise Records and was followed up by their first full-length album, Walls of Jericho later that same year.[3]
